Frequently asked question regarding AGM.  

What is the criterion for a Member to be be eligible for election to the PCC?

1. be no less than 21 years old;

2. have been on the Electoral Roll (voting Member) for no less than one (1) calendar year;

3. have verifiably served in a COOS ministry;

4. be of good standing among Members and the community, and;

5. have been nominated in accordance with articles 4.4 and 4.5.

How a Nomination for election to the PCC shall be carried out ?

Nomination for election to the PCC shall be carried out using such form as prescribed by the Vicar and shall be submitted to the Vicar no less than fourteen (14) days before the General Meeting at which the election in question is to be held. There must be a Proposer and a Seconder for each nominee and each of them must be a Member.

How long an elected PCC member shall serve and to facilitate maximum member participation?

Each elected PCC member shall serve one (1) term and may be re-elected. To facilitate maximum Member participation,

1. one (1) term shall be the period between an AGM and the AGM in the following year
2. A Member shall be Proposer or Seconder of only one nominee, and

3. the Proposer and Seconder of a serving PCC member to be nominated for re-election shall not both be serving PCC members.

When and Where is COOS AGM 2026

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Church of Our Saviour will be held on 5 May 2026 (Tuesday) at 8pm at the Level 4 Chapel, Church of Our Saviour

AGM Attendance

Members are encouraged to pre-register their attendance at the AGM by submitting the AGM 2026 Registration Form, to allow checks on ER status to be conducted beforehand in order to facilitate faster registration and entry into the AGM.

Members who do not pre-register will be able to attend and vote at the AGM, subject to verification at the door that they are on the Electoral Roll. We seek members’ patience and understanding for any wait and delay. 

The quorum for the AGM may be formed only by members on the Electoral Roll who are physically present at the AGM.

Ministry and Financial Reports

Once available, members who have pre-registered will be emailed the digital copies of the Ministry and Financial Reports directly from agm@coos.org.sg before the AGM. Please note that we are going paperless as much as possible for a better environment.
